What we collect
When you submit an inquiry form we collect the name, business name, email address, phone or phone number, website, project type and message that you choose to give us. We also record the date and time of the submission and the IP address it came from, purely to block automated spam.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your inquiry and arrange an estimate.
- To prepare an estimate or proposal you have asked for.
- To keep a record of business correspondence.
- To detect and block spam submissions.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade your details. We do not add you to a marketing list without you asking. We do not share inquiry data with third parties for their own marketing.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use this site. It sets first-party cookies (names beginning _ga) that store a randomly generated identifier, and it records pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the source that referred you. Google Analytics 4 does not store your full IP address.
We do not run advertising or remarketing tags on this site. If that changes, this page will be updated before those tags go live.
You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them does not affect how the site works.
We also use Google Search Console, which reports how the site performs in Google Search. It uses aggregated search data and does not set cookies on this site.
How long we keep it
Inquiry records are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where it left off, then deleted unless you have become a client, in which case normal business record keeping applies.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time for a copy of what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@asphaltcontractorbirmingham.com and we will action it within 30 days.
